Loose and Free is a collection of watercolors depicting the relaxed and bare male figure. Exploring sexuality, comfort, and vulnerability and how that is contained and expressed in the male form. Bryan Hobein is an artist living and working in Astoria, Oregon. He received a BFA and illustration from the Memphis College of art in 2019. He is represented by Salem On The Edge gallery in Salem,Oregon.

Are you the Silky Nutmeg Ganache of the Pacific Northwest Coast? Then show us what you got, queen, king, or everytone in between! The lip-sync battle begins this Friday at 9:30pm. You don't want to miss this show!

The first 8 contestants are guaranteed a spot. If there is enough interest, we may open it up to 16 spots. Each contestant will be placed in the bracket by random draw and will compete against the contestant in the opposing bracket in the first round. At the end of each round, the winners of the audience secret ballot will be revealed and move on to the next round.

If the bracket is extended to 16 contestants, an additional round will be added, and the finalist must spin a wheel to determine a category. Then they must pick a song at random in that category to lip-sync for the win. So the more contestants, the more drama!

Originally conceived as a modest cultural reunion for far-flung friends in the commercial fishing fleet, the FisherPoets Gathering now attracts nearly a hundred poets, songwriters and storytellers from both the west and east coasts’ commercial fishing communities. They gather in Astoria’s pubs, restaurants and galleries to read for each other and for the hundreds of fisherpoetry fans who come to hear the authentic, creative voices of deckhands and skippers, cannery workers and shipwrights, young greenhorns and old timers, strong women and good-looking men. After years of classical training, Saint Syndrome fled the music conservatory for the speak-easy where she’s been delighting audiences ever since. Saint Syndrome has opened for and collaborated with such legendary performers as Latrice Royale, Alyssa Edwards, Jinkx Monsoon, Sharon Needles, Plastique Tiara, Cameron Michaels, Roxxxy Andrews, Axel Andrews, Darcelle XV, and many more. Appearing all around Oregon, she was the first drag performer ever to be featured at Dante's longest-running burlesque show, "Sinferno," and the only solo drag queen to grace the stage at the historic Star Theater for her recurring show "Piano Queen". Saint performs weekly in "The Queen's Keys," with Nicole Onosopi at CC Slaughters and plays live piano for her event "Keyed Up Karaoke," at Barrel Room Portland.
