Cleo Birdseed uses music as a vehicle to open hearts and minds. Inspired at a young age by his late uncle Elliott Smith, Cleo taught himself to sing and play guitar and began writing songs and performing live in Northern California and Oregon. Cleo writes intricate and thoughtful music that blends influences from folk, rock, and alternative genres in a style that sounds uniquely his own, with the sound often morphing to fit the message being delivered. Cleo now lives on the road full time, writing and performing music wherever he travels to document and share the beauty and hardship of a life lived in motion.
